These antlers are from a farm in Tasmania. The antlers are shed naturally and regrown each year. They are made of bone and usually grow in symmetrical pairs. In most deer species, only the male grows antlers and their primary function is to increase his likelihoodof mating selection by attracting females or helping him fight other males. So fascinating!!!
